I've been listening to and singing along with this song at least once a day, every day since I first heard it a few weeks ago. It's become my little prayer. It's one of those songs I feel I should have known about long ago, and am pretty blown over by the fact that it's just now come to my attention. The lyrics are by Woody Guthrie.
Here's the YouTube link.

Yo Jen, If you like white rap, you should like Fort Minor. Fort Minor is a project done by Michael Kenji Shinoda. It's a compilation company including Styles of Beyond, a New York based alternative hip-hop band. One really sick track is called "Remember The Name". It features distorted violins, a crazy drum beat, and killer verses from Mike, Ryu, and Takk Fear. His album is out. It's called "The Rising Tied". It's wicked fresh. By the way, do you have the UHF DVD? It's a 1989 film and I kinda want it REALLY bad! So, report back to the J-Man page. Laters!
