This is what happens when you don't dig up your radishes! I was curious to know what a radish flower looks like, and now I do. What do you think?
Even more exciting than the flower, was the discovery of little seed pods, about half the size of a sugar snap, and of similar texture, but with a little more spice and tang. Not at all sharp like radishes can get this time of year if left in too long. So if you find that your radishes are too hot, you might try sitting it out and going for the pods. This is the "French Breakfast" variety. Cute and yummy.
