Today it is 9 degrees outside and snowing. I think I'd rather look at the garden from this angle.
Yesterday was nice and sunny, though and I found that the yard wasn't totally without color and interest. Nothing that could fairly be called a "bloom" though.
I took Ms. B. for a walk around the neighborhood a little, but didn't see anything that wasn't snow or wood.
Back inside, I brought in some frozen hydrangea and let them thaw out in a dried bouquet.

Primrose were only $1.49 at ShopRite. They also had some holiday cactus in 5 gal containers for only $2.99. Kicking myself for not buying one of those.

I love to see trees that have "winter interest": peeling barks or berries or seed pods.
Love the hydrangeas arranged as you did them in the cool vase with embroidered cloth beneath. Snow snow everywhere, huh? Brrr!

Hi Jen, at least you have some bright & colorful blooms indoors to cheer you up! :) The snow really changes the look of the garden, but those red berries really pop against the white. Happy GBBD!

We said goodbye to snow when we left Canada but I still think it is nice to see snow in the garden in winter. Better than the dreary brown look. Those primroses are lovely and what a bargain. I'd certainly be picking up a few if they were selling them here.

The winter landscapes are so pretty! Great photos, my daughter loves the hydrangea arrangement, her favorite flower. No flowers on my blog today, but there is a beach picture! I'll have to go look now and see if any landscape gems are hidden in there.
