Some of the Relatives in Far Flung States (RIFFS) who stop by the Backyard from time to time have been squawking about the lack of photos of the kids. So here is a pictoral update on the kids, as well as assorted friends and cousins -- all taken this week.
This first group is from a trip to Bear Mountain's Ice Skating Rink with Liz, Zach and little Ana.
Then, yesterday, we visited the New York Aquarium on Coney Island with the cousins. One exhibit featured a simulated tidal wave observed from under lucite. It was a big hit with our crew.

Love the Skating Young lady in the Pink Gloves...
J--are you up for the Virtual Book group? We're considering Per Pettersen's Out Stealing Horses.
Wow; everyone's so cute! That tidal wave must've been something else!
I'm getting my copy of the Pettersen book tomorrow at the library. Ready, set, read!
RIFFS should be very happy today then, very nice pictures of the kiddos!
And a fun time was (definitely!) had by all!
Awesome and love the children looking up in each of the photos. It's all so innocent. Good to see your kids know how to have fun.
