And she's totally sacked out today. As a kid growing up on the west coast of Florida, I remember sand projects that lasted ALL DAY LONG. We didn't limit ourselves to castles. We built sand KINGDOMS. No wimpy little tunnels for water or crabs or matchbox cars. We dug tunnels that we could CRAWL through. And buckets and buckets of coquinas. Sorted by color, of course. (Then there was the time we tried to make coquina soup by painstakingly scraping every tiny pea-sized muscle from their shells.) Back then it didn't bother us to sit around in a wet sandy bathing suit all day, either.
Here's yesterday's sand project -- a moat for the 17 sunnies they caught, to swim from shore back to their homes in the lake.

Yes, hi, met you through Daisy's blog. Question: How do you physically poach grated eggplant exactly, and for how long? I've been looking for other ways to eat organically grown eggplant, because I know it's good for me!
I think I've seen Miss. B before! (on High Avenue maybe) Does she get walked with another dog?

Squirrel, Betsy doesn't get walked in the village, but she has a couple of brothers/sisters in the area -- maybe you saw one of them!
