Mood Swings

The Agony...

The Ecstasy...

The Heartbreak....

and Delight....

I'm just glad it's finally happened. My first blooms (crocuses) have hit the finish line! The tulips in the front bed got chomped already, and a few of my broccoli bit the dust. On the other hand, St. Patty's Day is here - time to put in the peas! What kind of mood are you in today?

look at those peas! I've got radishes and a lettuce mix peeping out. We put chick wire over top; so far, no squirrels, cats, etc.

You are so funny with these high/low posts. I am in a tired like EXHAUSTED mood and have a busy week. So time consuming this garden thing-as it is all garden related. I'd trade the ups and downs in a garden any day but am sure I'll have fun and survive the day:)

I was in a pretty good mood today, mostly observing others. This afternoon I stopped to take a photo of some balloons outside a pub, and heard banging on the glass--the very happy party people inside wanted me to come and photograph their antics. (sorry folks, not today!) Earlier I saw an older lady (who should know better) all dressed in green exit a bar on very wobbly legs. She managed to get into her car (but gave me the scary hairy eyeball since I was standing there sort of loitering, and watching the the world go by.)

I doubt if getting drunk at 3pm would have put me in a better mood. I wouldn't go downtown tonight unless you're up for anything.

Well looking at that pretty crocus will put a smile on anyone's face :)

After the grocery shopping trip I did today, I need that smile!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

Crummy, since I have an endless cold and it's keeping me out of the garden (and anything else useful/fun). Sorry about your tulips, who did the dirty deed? And the broccoli, just too cold? Well, your peas look springy!

I feel for pain! Even though I sprayed my Tulips with critter repellent, somebody had to make sure it tasted bad. That's life in the garden.
