They’re all performing on May 3 at Madison Square Garden for Pete Seeger’s birthday concert! Even better, it’s a SING-A-LONG!
Tickets are on sale – if you have an AmEx card, you can get tickets here today. ( If you get tickets in section 314 on the very far side in the back, you’ll be sitting by me! )
Proceeds will benefit Clearwater.org, an organization largely responsible for raising awareness of the healthy and beauty of the Hudson River.
Pete has worked tirelessly for this organization, so lets support him by supporting them, and honor his life of activism and the many gifts he has given us through his music.

That looks like one AMAZING concert, you'll have a blast, and okay, I'm a little envious! And a singalong? Beautiful. I saw Billy Joel a few years ago, and at one point the audience of 15,000 sang together to him, lines from The Piano Man, as he just sat and listened. It was quite a sound.
I bet that concert will ROCK!
toshi reagan rocks, too. I can't believe he's turning 90!
Wow, I thought the list was just going to be people who had recorded his songs. All performing in one place, on one day! Wow, you lucky gal! Of course it will be a sing-along, what else? Hope they record/film it so the rest of us can see good old Pete again. He is such a hero.
Amazing is right! Last time I saw Pete was in the audience at Carnegie Hall--he was pointed out and stood to take a bow.
90! ( and many more birthdays to Pete!)
You are soooo lucky!
I went to a concert along the Hudson in Rensselaer with Pete Seeger on the Clearwater - - I was in H.S. - - so he was only 58ish at the time.
I'm glad that part of my life was on the Hudson as we have spoken about already. Sure hope the concert does well and that the weather will be great.
the first Daffodil is lovely!
